I am currently at the Olympic Test Event in Weymouth, England. This regatta is the only event that will be run just like the Olympic Games next year in 2012!! We have been looking forward to this event and are ready to get racing starting tomorrow.
There will only be one representative in the Finn from each country so the fleet will be smaller than at other events but the competition will be very tight and every point this week will be crucial.
Also different this week at the Test Event, we will be switching race areas each day and will need to adapt to the different racing areas each day. There will be live tracking on the event site of the racing each day and also video and updates from the event organizers. It should be a great way for you to follow this exciting event.
We are feeling really good about where I am at looking forward to 2012 and this event will be a great opportunity for us to learn more about the Olympic Venue in Weymouth.
